AIDA launches foreign investor outreach campaign, door-to-door meetings during June

The Albanian Investment Development Agency (AIDA) has launched during June 2026 a broad outreach campaign towards foreign investors operating in Albania, through the development of "door-to-door" meetings with companies with German, Italian, Austrian, Hungarian, Dutch and Swiss capital.
The initiative aims to strengthen direct dialogue with existing investors, identify challenges that affect their activity, and discuss plans for expanding investments in the country. The campaign is being developed within the framework of the Aftercare 2026 Program, which is supported by the Ministry of Economy and Innovation, the Minister of State for Local Government and the embassies of the participating countries.
One of the key elements of the program is cooperation with local governments. In this context, AIDA has signed 12 memoranda of understanding with municipalities across the country, with the aim of increasing institutional coordination and providing more effective support to investors.
In parallel, the agency will also create a digital platform dedicated to aftercare service, which will enable investors to communicate in real time with institutions, report problems and follow them up until they are resolved.
According to AIDA, the campaign aims to strengthen long-term relationships with existing investors, improve the business climate and encourage the expansion of foreign investment in Albania. The program will be further extended to investors from other countries.
