83.3 million lek for the design of kindergartens and nurseries - Tirana Municipality opens the competition. Preschool education facilities, towards new standards
The Municipality of Tirana has announced the opening of the procurement procedure for the study-design of facilities within the framework of the Preschool Basic Education program. The estimated limit fund is 83 million and 333 thousand lekë.
According to the document at the Public Procurement Agency, designers will draft projects in accordance with the regulations and technical construction conditions for preschool education institutions.
One of the key elements of the design is related to the full verification of existing structures. The consultants will conduct detailed analyses for the constructive safety of the buildings, according to European standards.
The document also states that during the design of the project, the expected increase in the number of children in the relevant areas over the next 10 years will be taken into account. For this reason, designers should analyze the existing state of the water supply and sewage networks, as well as new infrastructure projects planned for these areas. Likewise, the urban development plans of the Municipality of Tirana will have to be taken into account.
On the other hand, designers will ensure that the premises are provided with sufficient lighting, according to the function of each space.
The Municipality of Tirana aims to improve the infrastructure of preschool institutions, guaranteeing higher standards of safety and functionality for children and educational staff.
