"Origin of property in Zvërnec, investigation by SPAK"/ Prime Minister Rama: Full clarification of funds transferred through the bank

During a media appearance, Prime Minister Edi Rama spoke about the process of verifying the transaction for the purchase of land in Zvërnec. He stated that in this way there will be a complete and final clarification of the origin of the funds passed through the bank and with the final release of the investors who have already undertaken it.
"Meanwhile, on the other hand, I also consider it very positive that SPAK has decided to keep the funds frozen without letting them pass to the seller, for whom there is an investigative process.
This, in my view, is also very positive for anyone who claims property in that territory, because now the issue of the origin of the property is an issue that will be covered by a completely independent and professional investigation through SPAK.
And in both cases, the result will be an indisputable result from a legal point of view, while from a claims point of view it will put an end to any speculation, any manipulation, any claim that is not based on the law.
If the seller has a legitimate origin of the property, he will receive the money. If he does not, of course the money will remain with the Republic of Albania, and it will definitely be used for anyone who will prove that their claim on the property is well-founded.
"So this is where any concerns of those who are sincere claimants of the property end, and anyone else who appears as a claimant with the Albania of Albanians in their mouths and with the scheming of other hands from behind, can continue to appear, but it is no longer our problem," said Prime Minister Rama.
