From photovoltaic power plants to 'European' draft laws, today's government decisions are revealed
The Media and Information Agency has announced the Decisions and Draft Laws approved at today's government meeting, dated June 19, 2026. The approved decisions and draft laws are:
Approval of the construction of a photovoltaic power generation plant and ancillary works, which is not subject to concession and does not benefit from support measures, located in cadastral zones 1556, 1736 and 3262, in the villages of Drizë, Gjergjovinë and Cingar i Poshtëm, administrative unit of Pishaj, Gramsh Municipality, Elbasan County, by the company "ONE SOLAR", sh.pk.
Approval of the construction of a photovoltaic power generation plant and ancillary works, which is not subject to concession and does not benefit from support measures, located in the Municipality of Devoll, Korça District, by the company "DEVOLLI SUNPOWER", sh.pk.
The declaration of "Priority Area for the Development of the Mountain Economy" of several areas in the territory of the Municipality of Kolonjë, Devoll, Malësi e Madhe and Patos.
Approval, in principle, of the agreement between the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania and the government of the Federal Republic of Germany, for financial cooperation 2024, for the project "Program for the renovation of public university dormitories in Albania, according to the principle of energy efficiency V".

Approval of amending agreement no. 1 of the grant agreement, for the National Program for the Modernization of the Water Supply and Sewerage Sector in Albania, from the Single-Donor Trust Fund, between the Republic of Albania and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, acting as administrator of the National Program for the Modernization of the Water Supply and Sewerage Sector in Albania, from the Single-Donor Trust Fund, approved by decision no. 170, dated 24.3.2023, of the Council of Ministers.
Approval, in principle, of the direct loan agreement between the Republic of Albania, represented by the Ministry of Finance, and the United States of America, represented by the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA), within the framework of Foreign Military Financing (FMF), with a loan in the total amount of 302,000,000 (three hundred and two million) US dollars.
The approval, in principle, of the agreement between the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania and the government of the Republic of North Macedonia, for the establishment of joint border crossing points between the Republic of Albania and the Republic of North Macedonia and the conduct of joint border control activities.
