'Tirana Grand Prix–Warm Up' brings back historic cars to Mother Teresa Square on June 6th

Classic vehicles and the atmosphere of retro motoring will return to the heart of the capital with the "Tirana Grand Prix - Warm Up" event, which will take place on June 6, 2026 at "Mother Teresa" Square, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Organized by the General Directorate of Road Transport Services (DPSHTRR), the event serves as a preliminary race for the Tirana Grand Prix 2026 and aims to promote automotive culture, the historical heritage of classic vehicles, and the passion for vehicles that have left their mark on the history of transportation.
The event will focus on historic and classic (retro) vehicles, presented by collectors and automobile clubs from Albania and the region. Visitors will have the opportunity to see up close iconic models representing different periods of the automotive industry's evolution.
The program includes a parade and exhibition of historic vehicles, as well as a regularity competition, where participants are evaluated for their accuracy in respecting the time set by the organizers, offering a special spectacle for the public.
The Tirana Grand Prix initiative, which began in 2023, has created a new tradition in the public life of the capital, combining cultural, touristic and historical elements with a passion for motorsports.
Entry to the event will be free for the public in areas designated by the organizers.
