Oil goes to 215 lek/liter - Transparency Board publishes new fuel prices
The Transparency Board set new fuel prices at its meeting held on April 14, 2026, reflecting changes in international markets.
According to the decision, the maximum retail price for SSH EN 590 standard diesel is set at 215 lek per liter, while the wholesale price is set at 203 lek per liter. Meanwhile, for gasoline, the maximum retail price will be 178 lek per liter and 166 lek per liter in wholesale.
The new prices came into effect today, April 14, at 3:00 PM and will remain in effect until the next Board meeting.
The authorities have called on oil by-product trading operators to rigorously implement this decision, warning of strict measures in case of violations, up to and including suspension of activity.
The Ministry of Economy and Innovation, in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy, emphasizes its commitment to protecting consumers and ensuring fair competition in the fuel market.
