Hoxha meets with ambassadors of EU member states: Commitment to deepen reforms

Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ferit Hoxha, together with the European Union delegation in our country, held a discussion with the ambassadors of the European Union member states.
Through a post on social media, Hoxha emphasizes that during the meeting, the ongoing reform process was discussed, as well as the full range of issues shaping current Albania-EU relations, in particular the ongoing negotiation process and next steps.
According to Hoxha, among other things, it was agreed on the importance of "strengthening communication and expanding public attention on the EU accession process, both in Albania and in EU member states, with the aim of further increasing public understanding and support."
"EU enlargement has always been equally important for candidate countries and for the European Union itself, as it strengthens shared stability, security, prosperity and democratic sustainability across the continent, reinforcing the strategic role and credibility of the union," said Hoxha.
Hoxha thanked the ambassadors for their continued support for Albania's European path and assured them of their determined commitment to pursuing and deepening the reforms required in the country's journey towards membership in the European Union.
Together, stressed Hoxha, "we remain committed to advancing tangible progress for our citizens and strengthening our common European future."
