The government will intervene with relief packages for vulnerable groups if price increases are beyond normal and the conflict situation in the Middle East continues.
Asked about the World Bank's downgrade of the economic growth forecast and recommendations for reforms, the Minister of Finance, Petrit Malaj, emphasized that these measures will be taken in consultation with international partners, while the situation is under monitoring.
"We are monitoring the situation and will take measures for those in need if necessary."
As for the contribution that prices have made to increasing income, the Minister emphasized that performance does not come from prices.
"Performance does not come from prices because inflation did not increase in March. But it comes from good management."
The Minister also focused on the fiscal peace package, emphasizing that the bylaws are expected to enter into force in May.
