Finance publishes securities auction calendar, starting with 20-year bonds
The Ministry of Finance published the government securities auction calendar for May, inviting citizens and investors to participate. Through an announcement, Minister of Finance Petrit Malaj emphasizes that participation in government securities auctions constitutes a favorable investment opportunity, with competitive interest rates and a low level of risk.
Government bonds remain among the safest financial instruments on the market, as they are guaranteed by the state, while public interest in this form of investment continues to grow. The published calendar orients investors on the dates of auctions during the month of May, creating opportunities for timely planning and participation.
According to the calendar, today the auction for 20-year bonds, a new issue, will take place, on May 12 and 26 the auctions for treasury bills with 6 and 12-month maturities, respectively. While on May 13, 19, 25 the auctions for 2, 3 and 7-year bonds will take place. The Ministry of Finance calls on citizens and businesses to use these financial instruments to invest their savings in a safe and sustainable manner.
