Economists, lawyers and engineers, the most sought-after - In 2 weeks, AKPA lists over 1,000 jobs for the unqualified

In the first two weeks of May, the labor market has shown high demand for both qualified professionals and seasonal workers. According to data from the National Employment and Skills Agency, 208 job vacancies have been announced by private entities and state institutions for qualified workers.
The most sought-after professions are economists, lawyers, engineers, doctors, marketing specialists, as well as specialists and managers in local government institutions. The demand for specialized profiles remains stable, especially in administration, services and the private sector.
But the majority of vacancies continue to be filled by professions that do not require high qualifications. In total, there are over 1,000 vacancies for unskilled workers. The start of the tourist season has significantly increased the need for staff in coastal cities, where hotel and service businesses are facing a shortage of labor.
Waiters top the list of the most sought-after professions for the summer season, followed by hotel room cleaners, chefs and assistant chefs. Meanwhile, demand remains high in the construction sector, where companies continue to seek construction workers and field technicians.
Data show that the labor market is entering its peak seasonal period, with the tourism and construction sectors remaining the main drivers of employment demand.
