Up to 2.5 million lek to support businesses - AIDA opens call for financing of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises

The Albanian Investment Development Agency (AIDA) and the Ministry of Economy and Innovation have announced a call for applications for financial support for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises for 2026, with funds financed from the state budget. This financial support is designed to help businesses increase competitiveness, modernize technology, develop new products and services, and strengthen their capacities towards export and sustainable markets.
The call is open to all micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) that carry out their activity within the territory of Albania and that meet the established criteria for benefit.
The main support scheme for 2026 foresees financing of up to 2.5 million lekë per project, with 100% coverage of eligible costs. The funds will be used for certification of production and service standards, improvement of products through labeling and packaging, training of staff in digital and innovative technologies, as well as the creation of applications and platforms for e-commerce and business development.
Project proposals must be implemented within the 2026 budget year, while financial documentation and the final report must be submitted within November 2026. Meanwhile, the deadline for application is June 9, 2026, 4:30 PM.
Applications and relevant documentation will be submitted electronically. Meanwhile, enterprises that have benefited from other funding from donors or national and international financial institutions for the same activities or expenses are excluded from this fund.
