New hospital center in Tirana - Health Hub Hospital project presented, Rama: Complex diseases will be treated
A new hospital center in Albania will offer advanced health services according to European standards. In Tirana, the HHH (Health Hub Hospital) project was presented by the San Donato Group in the presence of Prime Minister Edi Rama.
This project envisages the construction of a modern structure, specialized in the diagnosis and treatment of complex pathologies, while simultaneously aiming to strengthen the capacities of the health system in Albania and consolidate the country's role as a regional center of health services in the Western Balkans.
"We have started work on building a hospital of excellence, Albanian-Italian and European excellence here in Tirana and to give a new opportunity to all those who are looking for other ways to Italy, or to Turkey and other countries, to receive healthcare for complicated diseases and here today we are witnessing a new leader for healthcare, because this hospital of excellence will also treat complicated diseases. It will not be a hospital of only excellence that comes from abroad, but it will be a hospital where excellence creates the conditions for young Albanian doctors and nurses to grow and serve their country in a reality that is at the best European levels and then to move on to other directions, towards which the country will be better equipped to serve its citizens" , said Prime Minister Edi Rama.
According to Prime Minister Edi Rama, the construction of this center is expected to be completed in the fall of 2028.
