20 schools in the smart city project - Rama: Project that radically transforms public safety in the country

The 20 most frequented schools in Tirana have been equipped with 600 intelligent cameras as part of the Smart City project.
Prime Minister Edi Rama, in his speech during the inspection of the Command and Control Center, provided more details about the project.
"Today we started with school safety, where the first 20 schools in Tirana were selected based on the density of the number of students, the intensity of the activities around them and the necessity that, by testing the model precisely in these schools, we draw all the necessary conclusions to continue with the other phases. Today, all parents should feel relieved, that the government is a body that says what it does and does what it says. Of course, everything takes its time. There is no project that cannot encounter obstacles, but today we are at a moment when the project comes to life and continues with its expansion throughout the country, marking a new historical phase of the state's effort to raise public safety management to another level", said Rama.
Smart City is a project that brings Albania closer to the most advanced European standards and radically transforms public safety in the country.
Minister of Internal Affairs Besfort Lamallari and Minister of Education Mirela Kumbaro stated that the project will provide more security for students.
