How much does it cost to discover the Albanian Riviera? Prices are rising slightly, but the country remains among the most economical destinations in the region

Exploring Albanian nature and beauty is increasingly becoming one of the main reasons why domestic and foreign tourists choose Albania as a destination.
The Albanian Riviera continues to be the most sought-after, with destinations such as Dhërmi, Himara or Ksamil leading the requests for exploration guides. But the interest is not limited to the south as more and more tourists are looking to discover other and inland areas of the country, significantly increasing the diversity of tourist offers. This has led to the market for guides to expand, offering packages ranging from simple day tours to personalized and premium experiences.
An important role in this development is played by international platforms such as GetYourGuide, which provide easy access to a wide range of guides, price comparisons and quick bookings for tourists from all over the world. Through these platforms, Albania is gaining more and more exposure in the global tourism market.
For 2026, the data shows a slight increase in prices in this sector, with an average of 6–8% in some guide categories. This increase can be mainly related to improved services, increasing demand and the inclusion of additional elements such as organized transport, professional guides and entrances to cultural or natural sites. In many cases, the final price remains flexible and depends on the tourists' own choices.
During the 2026 summer season, prices for exploring the Albanian Riviera with guides range on average from 25 to 100 euros per person. The differences in price are closely related to the destination and the content of the guide. The most premium areas, such as those around Ksamil, tend to have higher prices due to the high demand and rich tourist offer. On the other hand, the most economical guides can be found in destinations such as the island of Sazan, where the cost remains more affordable for tourists looking for adventures on a more limited budget.
When compared to other countries in the region, Albania continues to be one of the most competitive alternatives in terms of prices. Compared to Montenegro, prices are almost similar, reflecting a similar level of tourism development. While compared to Croatia and Greece, Albania offers significantly more economical guides, which makes it an attractive choice for tourists looking for quality experiences without high costs.
Overall, the trend for 2026 shows that exploratory tourism in Albania is growing steadily, with a balance between competitive prices and improving services.
