From the comparison of data from VAT declarations, it is noted that for the period August 2025 compared to August 2024, there was an increase in turnover of 21% and an increase of 34% in the amount paid, while for the period June - August 2025 compared to June - August 2024, an increase in turnover of 16% and an increase of 33% in the amount paid was recorded.

A comparison of payroll data for the period August 2024 - August 2025 shows an increase in the number of employees by 6% and an increase in gross salary for contributions by 21%.

While around 246 taxpayers were registered for VAT liability during the period May - September 2025.

Violations identified during the tourism plan, ranked by the highest number of types of violations, result in failure to issue invoices; Goods without tax invoices; Undeclared employees; Seizure of computer units, etc.

The Directorate of Verification and Coordination in the Field at the General Directorate of Taxes, during the tourist season for the period June-September 2025, has carried out 680 verifications where 873 violations of tax legislation were identified in the amount of 69.3 million lek, of which: A total of 84 computer units in 64 entities have been seized; 8 entities have been blocked for not issuing invoices for the second time. The largest violations are in the central region.
