Wolt "conquers" Albanians' phones/ The delivery platform is rivaling artificial intelligence applications
Artificial intelligence applications are dominating the Albanian smartphone market. According to the latest data published by Appfigures, users in Albania are massively downloading applications related to AI, communication and digital entertainment, significantly changing the trends of technology use in the country.
In the list of the most downloaded apps on Google Play for Android, the first place is held by ChatGPT, the application developed by OpenAI, which has been gaining immense popularity all over the world for months. Its dominance in Albania also shows that Albanian users are increasingly using artificial intelligence for research, learning, translations, professional work and content creation.
Following ChatGPT is Wolt Delivery: Food and more, the food and product delivery app, which continues to expand its use in the Albanian market. This app has increased by 10 or more positions in the ranking. In third place is Temu, the well-known online shopping platform that has gained great popularity thanks to low prices and intensive advertising on social networks.
The list continues with the puzzle game Arrows – Puzzle Escape and then with Block Blast!, showing that games still remain one of the most favorite categories among Albanian users. Meanwhile, TikTok continues to hold a strong position among the most used applications, while Roblox confirms its great popularity among young people and children.
On the other hand, in the App Store for iPhone users, the ranking is somewhat different. At the top of the list is Google Gemini, Google's new artificial intelligence assistant, which is competing directly with ChatGPT at the global level, the most used by companies. The application has attracted great attention thanks to its integration with Google services and advanced capabilities in search, analysis and communication.
In second place on the iPhone, ChatGPT is again ranked, showing that the competition between artificial intelligence platforms is becoming increasingly fierce in Albania. Among the most downloaded applications on iOS, Google Maps, the game Arrows GO!, as well as the Temu and Wolt applications also appear.
