Fuel prices, here are the new prices approved by the Transparency Board

The Transparency Board has approved new fuel prices in the country, imposing further reductions for diesel and gasoline.

According to the decision taken at the meeting on June 4, the maximum retail price for SSH EN 590 standard diesel will be 195 lek/liter, while the wholesale price will be 183 lek/liter.

Meanwhile, for gasoline, the maximum retail price has been set at 175 lek/liter, while the wholesale price is 163 lek/liter.

The new prices came into effect today, June 4, at 3:30 PM and will remain in effect until the next meeting of the Transparency Board, which will reflect the latest developments in international hydrocarbon markets.

The authorities have warned all operators involved in the wholesale and retail trade of petroleum by-products of the mandatory implementation of this decision. In case of violations, administrative measures will be taken up to the suspension of the activity.

The Ministry of Economy and Innovation, in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy, emphasizes that it remains committed to protecting the interests of Albanian consumers and guaranteeing fair competition in the fuel market.
