Financial support for the needy - The Government of Kosovo provides 100 euros each to four categories of citizens

The acting government of Kosovo has approved the Inflation Response Package 2.0, which provides one-time financial support of 100 euros for pensioners, children, private sector workers and active students.
Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti said that the measure was designed to help citizens cope with the rising cost of living and inflation.
"The citizens of the Republic must know and must always count on our government to never leave them alone, regardless of the obstacles or blockades that others may place in our path. Therefore, today I am pleased to announce the Inflation Response Package 2.0, which we have designed and will approve today," Kurti declared.
According to him, the package includes a one-time support of 100 euros for pensioners, children, non-public sector employees and active students. Speaking about the financing of the measures, Kurti accused the opposition of blocking the budget review in the Assembly.
"To implement this commitment, last month we proceeded in the Assembly with the budget review, which would provide funds for the implementation of the package. When the budget review was submitted for a vote through an accelerated procedure, the opposition bloc did the only thing it has known how to do for a while, namely blocking it," he said.
The government is expected to publish in the coming days details regarding the criteria and application procedures for beneficiaries of this financial support.
