Fitness market heading towards oversaturation - Tërpo: Competition is very high
In every area of the capital, gyms have become a common part of the urban landscape.
From large fitness centers to small neighborhood studios, physical activity offerings have increased significantly in recent years.
But while interest in the body, health, and active lifestyle has increased, the market itself appears to be facing a turning point.
Donald Tërpo, the owner of one of the gyms in the capital, says that competition has become very strong and that the sector is heading towards oversaturation.
But it also shows that the costs of maintaining a gym are incredibly high.
The instructor points out that gyms differ from each other due to location, equipment offered, infrastructure conditions, and the professionalism of the staff.
