Rama: The Milot-Balldren axis will give a new impetus to the development of the north

Prime Minister Edi Rama described the start of works on the Milot-Balldren road axis as an investment of strategic importance for northern Albania, emphasizing the impact that the project is expected to have on the economic development and improvement of the area's infrastructure.
Through a post on social networks, Rama stated that this road segment will bring direct benefits to the residents of Shkodra, Lezha and the entire northern region, significantly improving movement and road safety.
"The start of work on the Milot-Balldren axis is a very important step for the development of Shkodra, Lezha and the entire north of the country," the Prime Minister emphasized.
According to him, the project will facilitate vehicle traffic, reduce travel time and increase road safety standards on one of the country's most important corridors.
Rama underlined that the investment is expected to have a positive impact on the development of tourism and business, creating more favorable conditions for the movement of visitors, goods and services in the northern area.
The Prime Minister added that modern infrastructure remains one of the government's main priorities to promote economic development and increase connections between the country's regions, while the Milot-Balldren axis is considered an important link in this vision.
