The Transparency Board reduces fuel prices again: Diesel 176 lek and gasoline

The Transparency Board has approved new fuel prices in the domestic market, further reducing the price of diesel and gasoline.

According to the decision taken at the meeting on June 17, 2026, the maximum retail price of SSH EN 590 standard diesel has been set at 176 lek per liter, while the wholesale price is set at 164 lek per liter.

For gasoline, the Board has decided that the maximum retail price will be 166 lek per liter, while the wholesale price will be 154 lek per liter.

The new prices came into effect today, June 17, at 1:00 PM and will remain valid until the next meeting of the Transparency Board, where further market changes will be reflected.

The Board has reminded wholesale and retail fuel trading operators of their obligation to implement the decision, warning of administrative measures in case of violations.

According to the official announcement, operators who do not respect the set prices risk suspension of activity.

The Ministry of Economy and Innovation, in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy, reiterates its commitment to protecting consumer interests and ensuring fair competition in the fuel market.
