Reconstruction of the energy network in Elbasan and Cërrik - OSSH opens the competition, aiming to modernize the infrastructure
The Regional Directorate of the Distribution System Operator (DSO) in Elbasan has announced two tenders for the improvement of the electricity distribution network.
According to the document published by the Public Procurement Agency, the first tender concerns the reconstruction of the medium voltage network and electrical cabins of Feeder No. 13 Gracen, at the Elbasan substation. The limit fund for this investment is 49 million and 995 thousand lekë.
The project aims to modernize the energy infrastructure through the replacement and improvement of underground cables, electrical cabinets and other network equipment. According to the technical documentation, the materials to be used must be of modern standards and guarantee safe operation under different weather conditions and network loads.
Meanwhile, OSSH Elbasan has opened another tender procedure for the reconstruction of the low voltage network and electrical cabins in the vicinity of Cërrik, part of Feeder No. 1 of the Radio substation. The limit fund for this project is 99 million and 934 thousand lekë.
According to the document, the construction and improvement of low-voltage lines, which are used to supply electricity to homes and businesses, is foreseen. The new cables are designed to guarantee higher safety, resistance to weather conditions and uninterrupted supply of electricity.
Through these investments, the aim is to increase the quality of service, reduce technical losses in the network and improve the supply of electricity to residents and businesses in the beneficiary areas of Elbasan and Cërrik.
