AAPSK increased revenues from the rental of seized and confiscated properties by 31.7% in the first half of 2026

The Agency for the Administration of Sequestered and Confiscated Assets (AAPSK) continues to record positive results in the administration of seized and confiscated assets, significantly increasing the income generated from their leasing.
During the period January–June 2026, rental income reached 131.5 million lek, compared to 99.8 million lek in the same period in 2025. This represents an increase of 31.7 million lek, or 31.7% more compared to the previous year.
The increase in income is the result of more efficient management of the asset portfolio, the expansion of leased assets, and the pursuit of an active policy to maximize the economic value of assets managed by the Agency.
During the first half of 2026, monthly rental income has been consistently higher than in the same months of 2025, reflecting a steady upward trend. In June, income reached approximately 22.9 million lek, compared to 18.2 million lek in June 2025.
AAPSK remains committed to guaranteeing the transparent, professional and efficient administration of seized and confiscated assets, with the aim of these assets generating revenue in the interest of the state and citizens.
The continued growth of rental income confirms that the active management of seized and confiscated assets is an important instrument not only for preserving their value, but also for generating revenues that support the financing of law enforcement institutions and projects of public interest.
