Asphalting begins on the connecting roads of the Llogora Tunnel – ARRSH: 80% of the works completed
The Albanian Road Authority (ARRSH) announced today that work has begun on the road segment connecting the roads to the Llogora Tunnel to lay asphalt layers in the first kilometer.
According to ARRSH, the physical progress of the project has reached about 80%. ARRSH emphasizes that the investment is expected to significantly improve circulation and access to the south of the country.
The completion of this project, according to the ARA, "will enable faster and safer movement" for citizens and tourists, easing traffic in the coastal area and increasing access to the Albanian Riviera.
The works are part of the road segment of the roads connecting to the Llogora tunnel and aim to rehabilitate the existing road over a length of about 1 km from the tunnel exit on the Palasa side, to the intersection with the new Palasa-Dhermi road.
