Prime Minister Rama in Athens, meeting with Mitsotakis - "Strategic partnership agreement with Greece this year"
Prime Minister Edi Rama is on a visit to Greece and was received by his Greek counterpart Mitsotakis this morning. In a post shared on social media, Rama wrote:
"With the Prime Minister of Greece, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, we share a special friendship forged on the common path of ambition to modernize our countries and raise Albanian-Greek relations to a new level. Along this path, not only the best moments, but also the most difficult ones have always been characterized by respectful and open communication, while we are working to finally overcome all outstanding issues between the two states, to emerge from this year with a new strategic partnership agreement."
Rama is in Greece at the invitation of the Delphi Economic Forum, which takes place from April 21 to 23. The Forum is a high-level international platform that annually brings together political leaders, business representatives, academics and experts from around the world to discuss key global challenges and promote international dialogue.
During the Forum proceedings, the Memorandum of Understanding between the Albanian Investment Corporation and the Hellenic Corporation of Assets and Participations will be signed in a special ceremony.
