How much does a night of camping cost in our country? Albania ranks with the lowest cost in the region and Europe

Tourism has become one of the main pillars of the Albanian economy, especially during the summer season, when the number of vacationers, both residents and non-residents, increases significantly. One of the most widespread forms year after year is adventure tourism, which is attracting more and more visitors.
In many areas where the construction of hotels is not allowed due to environmental protection, camping is presented as a necessary and very favorable form of accommodation for tourists. Not only does it offer a unique experience in nature, but it is also more economical.
According to Eurostat data, Albania is one of the countries with the highest growth in Europe in terms of this type of tourism. Even foreign websites specializing in camping list Albania among the cheapest places to spend a night in nature.
Data from Camping.Info magazine shows that Albania has the lowest cost for camping in the region, with a price of 14.18 euros per night. In comparison, the cost in Serbia is 20.69 euros, while in Bosnia and Herzegovina and North Macedonia it ranges from 18.60 euros and 17.90 euros, respectively. This makes Albania a very attractive destination for tourists who prefer low-budget travel and outdoor adventures.
Also, INSTAT data shows that in April there was a significant increase in camping stays, partly due to more favorable weather conditions. During the January-April period, 228 overnight stays were recorded by resident tourists and a full 3,859 by foreign tourists. This number is expected to increase significantly during the summer months, with the peak expected in July and August, thanks to the low cost and special experience that camping offers.
