National Agricultural Support Scheme/AZHBR: Over 67 thousand farmers benefiting from subsidies during 2024!
The Agency for Agricultural and Rural Development announced that it has financed 67,133 farmers nationwide, through the National Agricultural Support Scheme 2024.
According to statistics published by AZHBR, 52,195 farmers received support for diesel, 3,503 farmers were financed for the basic registered cattle herd, 5,089 for the basic registered small livestock herd, 4,056 for beekeeping, 105 for organic farms, 3 farmers for Global Gap certification, 1,406 farmers for seeds, seedlings and other inputs, and 75 farmers were financed for medicinal and aromatic plants.
AZHBR also informs that payments were made 100%, with a total fund of 5.2 billion lek.
According to published information, the National Scheme 2024 provided support for 8 measures: registered basic herd (cattle and small animals), beekeeping, organic farms, Global Gap certification, seeds-seedlings and other inputs, medicinal-aromatic plants, as well as oil support for mechanized work in agriculture.
The aim of these measures is to reduce costs for farmers and increase the yield of domestic production.
